Emily graduated in 2014 and has since worked in both the NHS and private sector gaining a wealth of experience throughout all areas of physiotherapy. 

Her passion now lies with getting to the root cause of your symptoms. 

Emily is revolutionising the way traditional physiotherapy is being used and taught of and is seeing fantastic results.

From long term health conditions including longstanding musculoskeletal complaints to supporting people with gastrointestinal disorders, irritable bowel, thyroid disorders and women's hormonal disruptions, her in-depth approach really works. This is of course alongside more traditional in-person physiotherapy sessions at clinic and she enjoys a well rounded approach. ​In addition to this, Emily is AACP registered to use acupuncture and has completed an Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue mobilisation course alongside other courses and updates to provide the most current, relevant treatment to patients.

Outside of work Emily is regular gym and enjoys physical training, Emily utilises this in her physiotherapy strongly believing and advocating that as humans, we require more strength in nearly everything we do.

Emily has a special interest in the treatment of:

  • Treatment of Tendinopathies

Ros Wills

After qualifying from the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham, Ros worked in the Midlands at several large district general hospitals gaining valuable experience in all aspects of physiotherapy including A & E, intensive care, amputees, respiratory conditions, burns and paediatrics before specialising in musculo - skeletal problems and orthopaedics.

She was a Senior Physiotherapist in charge of a busy out-patient department and also worked in a private sports injury clinic.

 

Ros moved to the Somerset Nuffield Hospital in 1995 as the Physiotherapy Manager and split her time between treating patients and administration, lecturing and national involvement with the Nuffield Hospital Group.

​

Whilst studying for a master's degree in Management at Exeter University, Ros realised that her true vocation lay with providing 'hands-on' treatment for patients, so she set up her own private practice in Taunton. Stonegallows Physiotherapy Clinic was opened in July 2006.

 

Ros has a keen interest in sports, both theoretically and through personal participation which has in recent years focused around golf, badminton and cricket.

Her special interests are in the treatment of:

  • Headaches

  • Sports and soft tissue injuries

  • Arthritic conditions

  • Back and Neck pain

  • Pain relief using Acupuncture

Louisa Wills

Louisa graduated with first class honours from Manchester Metropolitan University and moved back home to develop her career as a Physiotherapist in Somerset. 

During her training, Louisa developed a strong foundation and knowledge through a wide range of physiotherapy experiences, including: frailty, long covid, MSK, neurotherapy, trauma and orthopaedics. 

Along side her Physiotherapy training Louisa also completed a level 4 sports massage therapist course and accredited taping course, giving her the extra edge with her manual therapies. 

Louisa has developed a passion for musculoskeletal physiotherapy after spending a season with Sale Rugby Club gaining hands-on experience both pitch side and in training. Further developing her skills in player assessments, injury prevention and rehabilitation. 

Outside of work Louisa enjoys playing netball and training at the gym.

Louisa is looking forward to working with you through sports massage or physiotherapy to help you feel stronger, move better and understand your body.

Matt Lord

Matt has joined the team as our rehabilitation PT, a keen eye for correct movement, an approachable manner all combined with over 35 years of knowledge in the training and fitness industry making him a real asset to the team. After a combined full service in both the Navy and as a Firearms officer Matt completed his Level 2+3 qualifications in personal training to allow him to utilise his knowledge, He is currently completing his Level 4 Strength and Conditioning. 

​

Over the years Matt has been known to compete in a variety of sports and arenas, beginning with Royal Naval Field Gun competitions later trying his hand at Natural body building, triathlons and more recently CrossFit and Hyrox, the key to maintaining fitness he would say is, 'consistency and regularity'. 

​

Outside of 'work' Matt enjoys travelling, Campervan life and Stand up paddle surfing. 

​

Matt looks forward to being able to impart some of his knowledge to you to help you move better, get a little stronger and live the fullest life possible, at any age and any level. 

​

Chris McClure 

HCPC Registered Podiatrist 

Diploma in Podiatric Medicine

Chris is our very well-established and respected Podiatrist. He specialises in custom-made orthotics, in addition to routine podiatry and chiropody work. 

​

Treatments include: Hallux abducto-valgus (bunions), nail trimming, corns, callus and verrucae management, heel pain (plantar fasciitis), metatarsalgia, foot ulceration, fungal nail infections, in-growing toe nail treatments (where appropriate, including the administration of local anaesthetic​), advice and treatment of fungal foot infections (athletes foot), treatment of inter-digital neuromas, diabetic foot assessments and treatment which may include advice and circulatory assessments.

​

Chris is in clinic on Wednesdays and Thursdays. For appointments, please call the clinic number 01823 330689. For alternative appointments, Chris can be reached on his mobile 07729 009135.

Routine appointments £35  (approximately 30 minutes)

Lucy Mann

Administrative and Clerical Support

​

Lucy is the friendly voice on the end of the phone and the face that will greet you at the clinic. She will help deal with your enquiry upon contacting the clinic. 

​

Lucy graduated from Warwick University with a BA in Sociology and has  a wealth of experience in how to keep a business running effectively, teamed with a friendly and welcoming manner. 

​

Outside of work, Lucy is a keen cook and enjoys spending time with her family.

Dan Booth

Dan qualified as a Level 3 Sports Massage Therapist in 2024, developing a strong foundation in soft tissue therapy and recovery techniques. During his training, Dan had the incredible opportunity to work with Somerset County Cricket Club, providing weekly massage sessions to high-level athletes, giving him valuable hands-on exposure to performance-based therapy and allowed me to learn from a team of skilled physiotherapists and sports massage professionals.

​

Dan says 'I'm currently studying for my Level 4 qualification, with plans to progress to Level 5 and further develop my knowledge in strength and conditioning for injury rehabilitation. My goal is to help clients recover effectively, move better, and perform at their best — whether that’s in sport or everyday life.'

​

Outside of the treatment room, Dan is passionate about staying active, he enjoys football, running, and has previously trained in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, which all fuel his understanding of the body and the importance of movement in maintaining health and performance.
