After qualifying from the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital in Birmingham, Ros worked in the Midlands at several large district general hospitals gaining valuable experience in all aspects of physiotherapy including A & E, intensive care, amputees, respiratory conditions, burns and paediatrics before specialising in musculo - skeletal problems and orthopaedics.
She was a Senior Physiotherapist in charge of a busy out-patient department and also worked in a private sports injury clinic.
Ros moved to the Somerset Nuffield Hospital in 1995 as the Physiotherapy Manager and split her time between treating patients and administration, lecturing and national involvement with the Nuffield Hospital Group.
Whilst studying for a master's degree in Management at Exeter University, Ros realised that her true vocation lay with providing 'hands-on' treatment for patients, so she set up her own private practice in Taunton. Stonegallows Physiotherapy Clinic was opened in July 2006.
Ros has a keen interest in sports, both theoretically and through personal participation which has in recent years focused around golf, badminton and cricket.

Emily Gadd

Emily graduated from Coventry University in 2014 and has since worked in both the NHS and private sector gaining a wealth of experience throughout all areas of physiotherapy including cardiothoracics, stroke, neurological rehabilitation, trauma and orthopaedics and intensive care before specialising in musculoskeletal conditions and becoming a hand therapist within the NHS. Emily has completed a post graduate diploma in Veterinary Physiotherapy, an interesting addition to her current role and is now able to treat both two and four legged patients alike! Furthermore, Emily is now completing a Naturopathic Nutrition diploma to add a holistic dimension to health and wellness in it entirety.

In addition to this, Emily is a certified Rock Doc for Fascial taping, AACP registered to use acupuncture and has completed an Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue mobilisation course alongside other courses and updates to provide the most current, relevant treatment to patients.
Outside of work Emily is regular gym user adopting a strong resistant training methodology after many year of CrossFit. Emily also regularly attends Yoga classes and hope to do her teacher training in the not too distant future.

Harry Gough

Harry graduated from the University of Central Lancashire in 2016 and has since worked in the private sector, specialising in musculoskeletal conditions. Harry has completed a number of post-graduate courses including spinal manipulative therapy, sports massage, Mulligan mobilisations and strength and conditioning.
Alongside Harry’s physiotherapy work, Harry is a powerlifting coach, coaching to International and world record level, and is a competitor himself.

Sarah Burn

Sarah qualified as a physiotherapist in 2006 from Coventry University, having previously completed a degree in Sport and Exercise Science at the University of Birmingham. She completed her physiotherapy rotations in the NHS, gaining experience in musculoskeletal, orthopaedics, respiratory, stroke, care of the older person, and community rehabilitation. She then went on to join the research department at Musgrove Park Hospital working on a variety of research trials. After having children, Sarah returned to working as a physiotherapist, specialising in women’s health physiotherapy. She now works in this area, part time for the NHS.
Outside of work, Sarah loves baking and cooking, keeping active, spending time with her family and has just started wild swimming!
Sarah enjoys treating all areas of Women’s Health Physiotherapy but has a special interest in Diastasis Recti abdominis.

Carolyn Davies

Carolyn completed her physiotherapy degree in 2011, at Monash University in Melbourne, Australia. Her placement at the Alfred Hospital in Melbourne, enabled her to experience ortho, neuro, amputations & burns, cardio-respiratory & gerontology. Since graduating Carolyn has worked in private practice in Australia, where she also ran the clinical Pilates studio. Carolyn is qualified in mat & equipment Pilates & Pilates for osteoarthritis.
Prior to this Carolyn completed a degree in Exercise Science (Human Movement) at Deakin University, and has worked in the fitness industry for many years as a fitness trainer. Carolyn undertook her yoga teacher training in 2016, completing a full year diploma (500 hours) and currently teaches locally and on retreats.
Carolyn’s areas of interest include back & neck injuries, core strengthening and ankle injuries. She’s qualified in dry needling and has a background in sports massage and implements a strong hands-on approach.
Carolyn is currently completing her NLP training, and aims to utilise this along with meditation techniques and breathwork practices, to manage the mental aspect of an injury. Outside of physio exercise is a big part of Carolyn's life and she understands the importance of encouraging patients to be active. Carolyn loves being in nature and the outdoors, enjoys running, hiking, exploring new places, yoga practice, meditation, healthy vegan cooking, she loves all animals and in particular her black cat who’s travelled with her from Melbourne!
Pip Latham

After completing her degree, Pip moved from Wiltshire to Somerset and in 2019 PL Sports Therapy was born. Pip has over 6 years experience working both pitch side/on venue and in clinic with a variety of athletes and clients.
Pip's passion is rehabilitating sports injuries and she enjoys playing a vital role in injury prevention, keeping people at the top of their game..
Outside of work Pip has working dogs and enjoys riding her horses alongside keeping fit. She is also a fantastic cook!

Chris McClure

Chris is our very well-established and respected Podiatrist. He specialises in custom-made orthotics, in addition to routine podiatry and chiropody work.
Treatments include: Hallux abducto-valgus (bunions), nail trimming, corns, callus and verrucae management, heel pain (plantar fasciitis), metatarsalgia, foot ulceration, fungal nail infections, in-growing toe nail treatments (where appropriate, including the administration of local anaesthetic), advice and treatment of fungal foot infections (athletes foot), treatment of inter-digital neuromas, diabetic foot assessments and treatment which may include advice and circulatory assessments.

Lucy Mann
Administrative and Clerical Support
Lucy is the friendly voice on the end of the phone and the face that will greet you at the clinic. She will help deal with your enquiry upon contacting the clinic.
Lucy graduated from Warwick University with a BA in Sociology and has a wealth of experience in how to keep a business running effectively, teamed with a friendly and welcoming manner.
Outside of work, Lucy is a keen cook and enjoys spending time with her family.
