Jo Wood_edited.png

Jo Wood

Dip. CNM, B.Ed Hons

Jo is a naturopathic nutritionist specialising in thyroid health and fatigue. After being diagnosed with hypothyroidism 20 years ago Jo started to notice how diet affected her symptoms and how despite a diagnosis she never really felt 'well', Jo always felt a little depressed, overemotional and overweight despite keeping active and exercising. So, Jo finally enrolled in a Naturopathic Nutrition course with the College of Naturopathic Medicine.

Jo has a passion for educating and empowering clients to understand how the food they eat and the lifestyles they live impact their health and wellbeing not just in the short term but for life.

Nutritional therapy is not about pushing a particular diet which is unsustainable. It is about seeing the whole person in context and making small adjustments over time to ensure that they are eating everything they need to keep your body working perfectly.

Outside of work of course Jo loves to cook and obviously to eat well, along with walking the dog and taking time out in countryside with my family, which helps to calm her mind and body.

Jo is in clinic with us on thursdays - to book an appointment contact Jo directly on or through Jo's website
